What in Goddess’ Name by Rodrigo Palacios | Poetry & Mixed Media Sculpture Art
What in Goddess’ Name
What in Goddess’ name,
what in all the gods’ names,
through time immaterial,
from this feverish inner self
which I find impossible to touch—
it hides from me,
untrustworthy, treacherous,
an alien—
what brought you,
knife in hand,
to me?
You have knifed deeply
this heart of yours.
What are all the gods for?
You run and knife around my world at will,
so cleverly,
under what spell
you allow me to live
through these pages.
Without you
I’m nothing.
Read this:
Nothing.
