Midday Moonlight: A Poem of Jealousy, Celestial Longing & Surrender
Midday Moonlight
What did I feel
that day—
when I saw you
at noontime,
making love to the Sun
for all to see,
before the very eyes
of a lidless moon
watching from afar,
dying of jealousy,
like me?
I fell into the arms
of that moon
amidst the whispers and caresses
of her midday moonlight.
